What are the best golf shoes? I want to buy my husband golf shoes for Christmas and I have no idea what would be the best shoes. What brand and style would be best?
It depends on your preferences. Ecco is probably the most comfortable, but prices are about $ 160 AVG and go to their high-end shoe, which is World Class GTX (U.S. $ 400 dolares).
FJ is not bad, but their styles were pretty lame over the years half dozen or so.
HiTec has decent shoes, but they are not really considered a brand name like FJ, Adidas, Callaway, Ecco, Nike, etc.
Everything depends on your price range:
- $ 100 or less, go with Callaway, because they have good quality shoes that all have a warranty of 2 years waterproof, which is usually strong enough important for a golfer
- $ 150 or less, go with FootJoy. They are the # 1 shoe in golf and you can get a good shoe 2 years waterproof in this price range, like the model or DryJoy ReelFit (reg price $ 200, but sales are $ 150) depending on its sense of style, Nike shoes have nice comfortable too - while Tiger Woods (TW) models are larger and have a 2 year warranty.
- Over $ 150, Ecco the whole way. 3 year waterproof warranty and are the best shoes out there if you have the dough.
I hope this helps!
Golf-Pro 10 + years
As someone who was in the company (I own a retail store golf three years) I can tell you that shoes are a proposal very difficult to locate for someone else. As manufacturers vary widely in terms of adjustment, it is almost impossible to choose a shoe that the golfer both similar and be able to wear. Nike and Adidas running very close, Foot Joy has so many styles that vary in quality and fit, Ecco uses European sizing without half size. Then, you run the risk of keeping a pair that do not, so it does not hurt your feelings. There are two different things you can do:
A) Make it a gift card to the store nearest golf and go out with him for so he did not buy another putter or driver, it does not need
B) Do your best to choose a style that pleases (my favorite is Foot Joy Reel Fit-white solid), keep a gift receipt and hope for the best
C) buy a shoe that is a size 1 / 2 off so he could attend the exchange for the pair they really want without feeling like it was the rejection of your gift or personal injury
Depends on what you want to spend and how much he plays. Eccos are a great brand, and they are expensive, around $ 200.
But you can get a decent pair such as Nike or Adidas for about $ 100, especially this time of year when you may be able to find the 2008 models.
Once you decide to make, there are a million styles and colors!
Is there a certain style? If it is in the sporty Nike sportswear, sports, here's a reliable cheap nike shoes waterproof:
