Combat Boots

I surf the web for combat boots and came with a couple of products. The question is, is very GITE rain boots? would not it be hot to wear?
My brother contested leather vs. pig skin, which is better? and if the pig skin, is it a black color to it?
Where can I suggest u find good shoes?

They are hard to find, but the GSG9 adidas shoes are very comfortable and waterproof. I wore them all year and are great.
