diehard fans of the Fox teen series television drama The OC was dismayed when the curtain fell early this year on their favorite show, just last February. Fortunately, several members of the cast of The OC continued to act more recent projects, among them Tate Donovan, who has played the role of Jimmy Cooper in the series. Donovan is currently in another drama series, this time on FX, called damage. The new show revolves around the work of a corporate lawyer named Patty Hewes as she puts a lot of effort into a battle against the corrupt and illegitimate business practices of Arthur Frobisher.

Hewes is played by Emmy Award-winning actress Glenn Close, while Frobisher is played by Ted Danson. character Donovan damages is named Tom Shay, and he is a partner of Hewes. In an interview, Donovan said that if a second season for the damages have not yet been finalized, or at least announced by FX, son of ground such as claims against Frobisher and the investigation into the death of David Connor would be resolved during the final of the season. He also said there would be a solid setup for a possible second season.

On the other hand, Donovan also thought of his earlier work on the CB, noting how ratings for the show after her character fell gradually Cooper was written from the storyline. He attributes this to the development of the series to move from family dynamics and to concentrate more on the troubles of younger people. He said he would direct a future episode of damages, as he did for the OC Donovan was also largely positive about his experience working with FX, saying her fellow cast members Glenn Close and Rose Byrne were fun to be with.
