I was dating this type of a month now and I could not ask for better bf: he is well educated, but I have a good management job, has his own house, he drives a Cadillac Escalade at work, he has this vintage sports car, a Shelby Cobra replica 1965 sitting in his garage, he wears a Tag watch, in a word, it is very upscale. Not to sell short Mr. dreamer, but it is not your Mr. Right. Hear the work will always prevail, so he can afford the Escalade and all that "high end" stuff. These things are very expensive, and they are much more important to him now that the things you want to do. And since he is paying all these bills (and probably more for his ex), he is under great pressure to perform financially. This means that it must reduce (or completely off) the things you want to do.
While you might still have some time to enjoy his company, I think once you realize he will not pony up the cash for the dates of the gifts you want, you probably go to someone more generous with its resources.
