Is this a good quality shoe Garmont? What are the good ones really tested hiking boot brand water? Oh, no, you really do not want a waterproof leather thick (God forbid) hiking boots. You want a light hiking boot made of synthetic materials. Who you jumping on the trail and your shoes dry quickly if wet and dry night in your tent. 5-6 pounds of wet leather for a week or two bulbs + pounds of nylon mesh and dry and without blisters. You decide. Your ankles will not break unless you are prone to accidents. That is a myth is a bust.
Brands such as Asolo, Vasque, La Sportiva, Scarpa and Raichle - have a good hiking / trekking boots.
What do you need boots for? What are the conditions?
Personally, I like Asolo Flame GTX
