Is American culture (U.S.) a hybrid of a lot of different influences from different cultures? Much the same way that many Latin American cultures have strong influences of American Indians and Africans, with respect to their regional, music, style of clothing, etc. ..
we have an interesting mix of hatred here ...
Yes, but in the long term history, the first generation does not blend in other than a subsistence level (socially, economically). The first generation tends to stick to small subgroups. We see it today in places like "Little Italy" or "Little China" or other "small". The language, culture and customs of the old country remain largely intact.
The second generation learns the language, and became totally Americanized. With this generation is the hybridization of clothing, food, words, music, and other forms of socialization. We see it in clothing such as aloha shirts worn everywhere and every day in the country. When the first Hawaiian shirts were sold, the equivalent attire was white shorts, shirt, socks and shoes.
If you want to look forward to a cultural tendency to spread over time, look to the gown, a comfortable shirt tunic of Africa. I predict this will increase more and more often by non-African Americans as gains widespread acceptance.
Yes, of course. For example, pizza is a food U.S., but it is actually by the Italians. and hamburgers and hot dogs are actually German. and French fries are French (I think). and watch the most popular music. both songs are popular among African-Americans.
Not really. America is a melting pot, is a country with different people who hate each other - one of whom, especially black, are forced to assimilate or be ostracized and discriminated against
Where can we come? there is little more than Native Americans so American culture is a hybrid of immigrants who made their countries, eg European
Not like you think it is
