What is the name of Italian cookies that some people call baby shoes? These cookies are kind of cakey but have a smooth surface, very thin, crunchy top. they are called savitelli or something like that, but I need the actual name so I can watch the recipe, because they are amazing :-)
It resembles the French "Madeline" cookies, you can buy pots for them I am with either a lemon, aniseed or oil of lavender. The mixture is a bit like a sponge cake were you fold in your egg whites into batter.
