Can I wear any type of leather jackets for motorcycle? Or is there like a specific type of jackets for riding?
I just wear normal leather ol .... just make sure it's real leather, not vinyl
i slipped into a leather jacket cheap this summer, the spots they stuff armor would not have mattered in my case ... it was my wrist which took the abuse and road rash when approached wrists .... elbows back and fine
nope ... the only with the protection ... unless you want to go skidding on the road on his elbows, no means of protection that it misses the leather, the skin begins to wear away the bone .... not a pretty site. ...
There are "horse" leather ... leather is thicker and more protection than normally worn. leather jackets Normal mode would be far less pieces and provide protection to zero if you "dump" of the motorcycle.
in some respects, the leather is leather. If you are moving the leather of the same thickness in two different jackets, they must be the same.
The difference is that a motorcycle jacket-probably more specific than leather. mine armor in elbows, forearms, shoulders and along the back. It is also double or triple-stitched seam.
and bear in mind that your regular leather jacket "is probably not designed to remain in place while you are moving to 30-60mph. Road Rash on the lower back can not feel good ... I prefer my jacket stay down.
an "ordinary leather jacket" is better than nothing, but a motorcycle jacket will always be better. trellis jackets if you can avoid (textiles and leather are best), but even then, protection SOME is better than nothing .
Yes, you can wear any type of leather jacket for riding. You only need a specific type of jacket to crash.
The leather is good but motorcycle jackets are designed not to go back when you leave your most expose the lower back.
With very little difference in price get the point of specialization.
Do you want your surgeon to use his knife fish fillet.
All the above. Most motorcycle jackets are more easily accessible and zippered pockets for gloved hands, and some will have ventilation and a removable liner for comfort in hot weather. I used all year in the mines to 95 in summer time. Gotta keep movin 'well. ;-)
Make sure you have some quality riding gloves. I intend to have the skin peeled in your hands quickly obtain the arrest may take a long time to heal.
One point that has not been mentioned:
Motorcycle jackets are sewn together using much stronger / thicker than ordinary wire jackets. In the case of a serious accident of a regular jacket is quite literally can come loose at the seams.
What is the difference? You can go topless if you want.
