Non Leather ShoesCare for special types of leather shoes

Exotic Leathers
exotic leathers such as ostrich, shark, crocodile and lizard are particularly popular with women and shoes for men and women cowboy boots. Most leather comes from animals raised on farms in South Africa and South Asia. Ostrich leather is especially coveted because it is extremely flexible and easy to shape. This also means that the ostrich leather is extremely delicate. A pair of ostrich leather shoes do require regular maintenance. It is very important to keep dust-free ostrich leather shoes. Use a neutral cleaner and polish leather conditioning cream on a regular basis. Lizard Leather crocodile and snake tends to be drier than most other types of Leather. This means that you must apply the conditioner more often than you would for other types of leather shoes. Make sure the air conditioner residue and dust does not collect between the scales.

Nubuck
Nubuck is a softer, silky leather there. It is made of cow leather is polished to a smooth surface. (Leather treated in this way is called napped or polished leather.) Despite its sweetness, is extremely durable nubuck. It is easy to clean, simply brush dust off the shoes from time to time. Use a leather conditioner and spray sealing required.

Suede
Sweden, like nubuck, is made from split leather. But whereas nubuck is made with more durable outer side of leather, suede is made from the inner surface of the skin. Sweden, like suede, leather is scratched, the "fuzzy" texture is obtained by polishing or brushing the leather to make the grain stand. It's a good idea to apply several thin layers of non-protection spray silicone. To clean suede leather shoes, use a nylon brush and suede cleaning. Some people also recommend using cornstarch to clean suede shoes. Rub corn meal in the surface of the skin, let sit overnight and brush the corn meal in the morning.

Smooth leather
Vitello and Napa are both smooth, high quality, cowhide leather. Do not use a brush to clean the leather! A soft cotton cloth should be used to gently wipe the skin dust. Be sure to use a neutral cream conditioner to keep leather soft velvety. Poland should also be applied with a cloth rather than a brush. (Vitello and Napa are both leather shoes, high quality calf standard used to make shoes is generally designated as full-grain leather.)
