Sympatex ® and Gore-Tex ®: The protection of young trees Elements If you are a parent known in the department of children's footwear, you can buy shoes that do not protect your child's feet from rain and surface water. There are two companies at the forefront of sealing your child's feet. One is called Sympatex ® and the other Gore-Tex ®, for parents that love outdoor activities will be familiar with these two brands. They are used in all applications of outdoor clothing camping. So how are these technologies?
Gore-Tex ® Technology
Gore-Tex ® is a material made of fabric composed of a thin membrane that is linked to a fabric or leather. The membrane has billions of pores per square inch, making it impenetrable to liquid water while allowing water vapor in the atmosphere. This makes Gore-Tex ® breathable, waterproof and windproof. The outer fabric was treated with water repellent and seams are sealed to prevent leakage of water through a hole caused during the sewing of the canvas. The membrane coating provides a protective layer and also prevents contamination (ie body oils) wetting the laminate and the passage of moisture through the membrane, this technology works the same way that the skin works by allowing moisture (perspiration) and to prevent water from getting in.
Sympatex ® Technology
Sympatex ® are trademarks of waterproof fabrics and "breathable" fabrics (leather or fabric) made or authorized by Sympatex ® Technologies GmbH. They feature a waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane laminated to fabrics (leather or textile), either on its inner surface or sandwiched between two layers of fabric (often marketed as "three layered"). This system offers greater durability, better protecting the integrity of the layer of Sympatex ® abrasion on the outside and inside the clothing or shoes. The Sympatex ® membrane like Gore-Tex ® does not allow water to get outside, but the water vapor molecules are transported through the membrane from inside to outside through a absorption and evaporation. This transfer of moisture through the membrane is what is called "breatheability.
Gore-Tex ® and Sympatex ® Footwear Manufacturers
From the description of the two membranes, we all know there will be a premium on a pair of shoes that did not. On average, expect to pay £ 10 or $ 18 USD premium on a pair that was not the membrane. However, you have the advantage that the shoes will prevent water from, but also allow moisture. Another major advantage is the reduction of the possibility of a foot infection, including infection by most of the feet caused by wet feet to react with bacteria in the shoe. Ricosta is a leading manufacturer of children's shoes with waterproof membrane and each season has integrated this technology into their shoes more than any other manufacturer, but there are also other market participants who use both or either of membranes of these elements. They are as follows: -
Ricosta
Superfit
Richter
Da¤umling
Christmas
MOD8
Babybotte
Ecco
Clarks
Primigi
Both Gore-Tex ® and Sympatex ® Shoes keep feet dry and protected because they are permanently waterproof and breathable, and are designed to provide optimized climate comfort across a wide range of outdoor recreation.
