I prefer the look of the second pair but it is difficult to know until you get in your hands and look good.
What type of running you will int he Himalayas? If you go on trails well (some sharp rocks) and an outer fabric is good for all. If you go on rough trails, go for a leather or suede because its port harder. Either for a Gore-Tex lining is good
Other answers - Vibram - they are the manufacturer of a batch of shoes soles, others for their stick above them.
One thing - I am answering many questions from people looking for running shoes and my advice always is to go to a specialty store to buy them. This ensures that they meet your feet, each manufacturer makes their boots and shoes with a little different "last" (old) and if their boots out with a different shape inside. They can all be good for your feet, they could not try and if the boots is very important. You can buy pairs repetition of the Internet by all means, but the first pair of a style always go into a store to put them in correct form. It would be terrible to go to India and find that the boots give you immediately .... Bulbs
My advice ..... get a pair of boots and wear them "often" until you know they will work with "at your feet. Do not go to the mountain with a "new" pair of boots.
Considered both. Both look appropriate. HOWEVER, why pay £ 95 / £ 120?
A year ago I bought on eBay for £ 30 new hiking boots with Gore-Tex brand name Vibran (never heard of them!) Climb startup.
This year, they took me to Alaska and British Columbia, Antarctica /
/ Falklands / South Georgia, St Kilda and cave Finglas (Scotland), etc.
I do not pay for the markup of 40% to pay for "brand" promotion, especially when they are all made in China / Vietnam!
Everything looked on Ebay, great choice at different prices!
