Did you ever work boots Russian felt boots? I have a friend who wants to make me a pair of Russian felt boots boots for my birthday. They are felt and you can wear shoes with rubber boots to keep in moisture. He says they are warm and good shoes but I do not want him spending money if they are uncomfortable and I do not know anyone who has ever worn. Can anyone give me any information on them?
Thank you
They are super comfortable (think Uggs) and hot and inexpensive, but they are not exactly or snow boots (wool felt shrinks after it is wet). Most modern have rubber soles to eliminate the problem.
BTW, even the Russian army was during the Second World War.
Personally, I've always hated - they are so gray and gloomy. They are not expensive at all, but the only reason you might want them is for exoticity "factor. My felt boots were still very difficult (or perhaps those who were my wool socks?), But they generally conform to the shape of your foot pretty well.
