Do you have a recommendation for inexpensive wheels for a child? My big fat girl feet would get a new skateboard since his father disappeared with his old junky hand me one. There are 21 "and there are 31" long. There are 6 "wide and are 8" wide. My daughter is almost 11, about 5 'tall and is the size of an adult woman shoe 7. What size skateboard should I look? It is a beginner and a lil cute klutz. What do you recommend? Please ABSOLUTELY NO Barbie, Disney Hannah Montana or anything! I do not want to buy something professional, but want something better than a piece of junk (but do consider that I am broken single mom shopping early for Christmas). If you have any links or prices, or an online place to get one, it would be useful too. Thank you!
I worked in a skateboard shop for many years, theres really no correlation between the size of the board to size up or height / weight or something like that. I wear a size 11 and fit an 8 "board, but I know that many people with big feet who ride 7.5 or smaller. A complete customized Pro typically runs 120ish. What do you call that piece of junk would be a Wal-Mart / / target any advice magazine, which can range from $ 20 up (honestly can be a good investment because the skateboard isn't easy, and if she loses it will be just that intrests a lot less money wasted) . Most stores will have a price pre-assembled complete for about $ 90 or more, if she really wants to stick to that and learn, that I recommend. But something really works to learn by feeling an edge.
